Janette Day, R.M.T.

Janette is a 2010 graduate from West Coast College of Massage Therapy’s 3000-hour program.

The winding path that led to her massage therapy career includes time as an aesthetician, mobile spa therapist, and many years working in the corporate customer-service world. Her personal history of “overdoing it” to the point of injury as an avid runner, and the her need for better stress management, ultimately led her to discover the benefits of massage therapy as part of an integrated approach to wellness. She is now a self-proclaimed “recovering marathoner” and is learning the benefits of balance in all things. Having become an RMT, she’s now thrilled to be able to help others in their journey towards better health and balance, as well.

It is her intention to facilitate your own unique healing process, using a wholistic, patient-centred approach. Janette uses a variety of massage techniques that range from deep tissue systemic therapy to light touch therapies (such as craniosacral and lymphatic drainage).
She has a special interest in using manual therapy to support those coping with fibromyalgia and stress, and trauma-based conditions such as PTSD.

Her other loves are music and her beloved dog. When she’s not working she’s likely out walking her pup or singing her heart out with the Good Noise Vancouver Gospel Choir.
